Get started today, here’s how:
- Login to ING DIRECT and click ‘Continue’ to access the account transfer tool
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions
- Click on “Transfer Now” to complete the ShareBuilder express account setup and initiate the transfer

Here are a few things to consider when preparing for the transfer:
- You will be asked to verify your current account details to ensure proper setup of your new ShareBuilder account
- If you have a joint account, the joint account holder must also confirm his/her acceptance of the account transfer
- Once you agree to the transfer, you must complete the online ShareBuilder account set up process in order to access your account
- You’ll need to review and re-activate your Automatic Investment Plan
- It will take 1-2 business days for your mutual funds to transfer over to your
ShareBuilder account
