Arkadi Kuhlmann is the "CEO of Savings"! He is also the Chairman, President and CEO of ING DIRECT USA, the #1 direct bank in the US that offers great value and simple financial products to consumers. Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, ING DIRECT USA is part of ING Group of the Netherlands, one of the world's largest financial services institutions.

Mr. Kuhlmann serves as a member of the General Management of ING DIRECT N.V., a member of ING DIRECT N.V. Supervisory Board, and a member of the ING Group Leadership Council. He joined ING in June 1996 as President and CEO to start up ING DIRECT in Canada.

Following the successful launch of ING DIRECT in Canada, he embarked upon the launch of ING DIRECT USA in September 2000. In just seven years, ING DIRECT USA has led more than 6.5 million customers back to saving with $80 billion in assets and has become the 3rd largest savings bank in the country.
